The National Land and Property Gazetteer (NLPG) project is a nationally coordinated project, with the aim of compiling a definitive national address list in which all land and property is given a unique identity. The NLPG, however, is compiled from Local Land and Property Gazetteers (LLPGs) created by individual local authorities, the people best equipped to undertake such a project within their own areas.
